Nori is a cold-water seaweed that grows in cold, shallow ocean waters.
More specifically, it belongs to the phylum Rhodophyta. It grows in the intertidal zone, usually between
the intertidal zone and the splash zone in cold water in temperate oceans.
In East Asia, it is used to produce the sea vegetable Nori.
The liquid extract of this seaweed (nori) seaweed is obtained by filtration after a long maceration
and stirring in a mixture of glycerin and water. The nori we use is washed in good quality water.
