Free radicals induced by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), were significantly eliminated by Thiotaurine. 19% MDA production was decreased by thiotaurine at the concentration of 100 ppm.
Thiotaurine can inhibit the damaged and toxicity of PAHs to fibroblasts. Tiotaurine reacts with PHAs, and the beneficial substances (taurine, hypotaurine) produced further promote cell proliferation.
Thiotaurine emulsion showed very significant improvement on skin wrinkles, brightness, color spots and skin sensitivity of volunteers, and the improvement effect of thiotaurine emulsion A (0.05% thiotaurine) was more significant than that of thiotaurine emulsion B (0.01% thiotaurine).
